In the Summer’24 release, Salesforce will introduce the Automation Lightning app, this new app designed to enhance the flow management experience for Trailblazers. This app offers a centralized hub for seamlessly creating, managing, and collaborating on Salesforce Flow automations.
One of the standout features of the Automation Lightning app is the ability to search for flows directly within the app, making it easier than ever to locate and work with the automations that power your business processes. This search functionality, coupled with the enhanced list view sorting options, allows users to quickly and efficiently navigate their flow landscape.
Furthermore, the app introduces a new sharing capability, empowering Trailblazers to collaborate with colleagues on flow development and maintenance. By sharing flows with other users, teams can leverage collective expertise, foster knowledge-sharing, and ensure the optimal utilization of Salesforce’s powerful automation capabilities.
In the “Recently Viewed” section, users can easily access and review the flows they’ve recently interacted with, saving time and facilitating a more streamlined workflow. This feature provides a convenient way to pick up where you left off, helping to maintain productivity and efficiency.
The Automation Lightning app is accessible through the App Launcher, and can be enabled by selecting the “Enable the Automation Lightning App” option in the Process Automation Settings. This seamless integration ensures a familiar and intuitive user experience for Salesforce administrators and developers alike.
